ANNOUNCEMENT: LearnToMod has received SBIR funding!
The LearnToMod Team received some BIG NEWS this week from the National Science Foundation (NSF)! The NSF is a U.S. government agency that supports fundamental research and education in all the non-medical fields of science and engineering (like computer science!) One of the many programs that the NSF funds is the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, which “seeks to transform scientific discovery into societal and economic benefit by catalyzing private sector commercialization of technological innovations”. We are excited to announce that ThoughtSTEM has received a 6 month SBIR Phase I grant to further the development of LearnToMod for use around the country for computer science education. With this funding we hope to make GREAT strides in making LearnToMod an even more impactful learning tool! Thank you to all our users who have supported us and helped to direct our development efforts so far!
